Hay Creek Ranch Policies
General Rules

Check-in is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There is a $50 fee for check-ins after 6pm. IMPORTANT: You must arrive for check-in by 8 p.m. on the day of your arrival. The road into camp is only wide enough for one rig and it is unsafe to park and unload after dark.
Check-out is by 11am.
You will be required to sign a liability waiver form at check-in.

Reservations require a two-night minimum stay.
Camp quiet time is at 10:30pm.
Daily housekeeping is NOT provided.
Please bring your own bath and kitchen towels.
Restrooms & showers are available in the shower house and the office.

No smoking in any Hay Creek Ranch buildings.
Broken or missing items from cabins will be charged to guest.
Be responsible for your campfires - only use provided fire rings and firewood, and put fires out completely when done.
Please dispose of all trash in the camp dumpster, located behind the West corrals.
No bringing firewood into camp - we have firewood for sale at the office.
No cutting firewood in the camp. If you have questions on this, please just ask.
NO tying of horses OR dogs to any trees, water hydrants, or electrical pedestals - tie them only to your trailer or a hitching post. You will be responsible for any damage caused by them.
NO ATVs, bicycles, scooters, or motorcycles allowed in camp.

Health papers dated within 30 days of arrival and Coggins for every horse (both local and out-of-state) in your party are REQUIRED. No exceptions.
No studs/stallions allowed.
Check-out is by 11am.

All hay must be fed in a hay bag or other approved feeder - no hay can be fed on the ground in the stalls.
Horses may be tied to trailers for tacking up only - NO feeding of horses at the trailer.
Hay is available for purchase at Hay Creek Ranch. We cannot reserve hay for you, but we always have enough for our campers at the ranch. We do not require Weed Free Certified Hay here at camp.

All stalls must be cleaned daily.
Guests are responsible for their horses and for cleaning their corrals daily. Use provided wheelbarrows and haul manure to the manure dumpster located behind the West corrals.
Cleaning fee ($50) applies at checkout for corrals that have not been cleaned out.
No bedding is allowed in the stalls, unless approved by management.
No dumping water buckets in the stalls.

No washing of horses in or near any stalls or trailers. Ask any staff member where you can wash your horse.
Horse Requirements & Care
Cabin Rules

A maximum of two people in the Line Shack, Lazy J, and Flying H cabins.
A maximum of four people in the Circle T and Diamond W cabins. Any people above these limits will require an extra fee. Please call for details.

Any excessive messes left in the cabins will result in an extra cleaning fee.

Dogs are not allowed in the cabins.
No smoking in any cabins.
Dog Policy

$10 fee per dog

ALL dogs must be on a SIX foot leash at ALL times when in camp.
No pens for dogs - they must be always secured to your trailer or you at all times.

Well behaved, non-aggressive dogs are allowed if they are spayed/neutered.
Current proof of rabies vaccination is required.
Dogs must be cleaned up after at all times.
No dogs allowed in the cabins or any other buildings, or on the porch of the office.
No excessive barking is allowed. If your dog causes a disturbance, you may be asked to remove it from the camp.
RV/LQ Trailer Services

If you would like your trailer pumped on site, please follow this procedure:
Pick up a clothespin with ribbon from the bulletin board at the shower house
Pin the clothespin visibly in front of your trailer
Be present while Superior Sanitation is on site working on your trailer. A staff member can help answer your questions about when they will be coming to camp.
Pay the Superior Sanitation driver $50 - MUST BE CASH. We cannot pay on your behalf and add this service to your bill.
Cancellation Policy

Reservations require a two-night minimum stay
25% deposit required at time of reservation

60 day cancellation notice – full refund of deposit
30-59 day cancellation notice – 50% refund of deposit
Cancellations less than 30 days prior to reservation require full payment. This includes tent sites, RV/LQ sites, and cabin reservations.
20% processing fee deducted from all refunds
After arrival, payment is due for full reservation period. We cannot offer discounts for early departure.

$2.50 per wash and dry

If you need hay, please let us know how much by adding it to the comment section of the reservations.
We do not require Weed Free Certified Hay here at camp.

$6 per bundle or 3 bundles for $15
No unauthorized cutting of firewood is allowed inside camp.
